- Unprotected sex
 
  - Men who have sex       with other men 
 
  - Male and female sex       workers 
 
  - People who inject or       snort drugs (past or present) 
 
  - Prisoners or       ex-prisoners 
 
  - Victims of sexual       assault 
 
  - People from       countries where HIV/Hepatitis B is more common (outside Western Europe,       North America and Australasia) 
 
  - Sexual exposure       (oral, anal, vaginal) in countries where HIV/Hepatitis B is more common 
 
  - Partner is from       country where HIV/Hepatitis B is more common 
 
  - Needle stick victims       (immediate care from occupational health/A+E) 
 
  - Body piercing,       tattoos or acupuncture with unsterile equipment 
 
  - Unsterile medical or       dental treatment overseas
 
  - Sexual       partners/household contacts of Hepatitis B positive patients or high risk       patients (Hepatitis B) 
 
  - Received a blood       transfusion in England, Scotland or Wales before 1991 
 
  - Received blood products       before 1986
 
  - Received organ/tissue  transplant in the UK before 1992
