Testing Kits are available free to anyone age 16 and older, living in Dumfries & Galloway.

If possible, please collect your kit from Sexual Health in Dumfries.
When collecting your kit, you're welcome to use the WC here at Sexual Health to take the sample, then hand it over at reception for us to deliver it directly to the lab, meaning you'll get the results much quicker – by avoiding the external mail system. 

If it is not possible to collect your kit from Sexual Health, we’re happy to post it to your home address.

Once you’ve used the kit, please drop off your samples at Sexual Health or at a GP practice.

Please note that return postage is no longer pre-paid, therefore samples should not be returned by Royal Mail.

HIV

HIV Self-Test Kits are free to anyone age 18 and older living in Scotland.
Like a home pregnancy test: you do the test yourself and see the results in a few minutes.
Mouth swab and finger prick tests are available, whichever you prefer.
